When our sister company, Duet Design Group, announced a new partnership with Warren Village, we were thrilled to get to join in supporting this important nonprofit! Warren Village is based in Denver and serves unhoused and unstably housed low-income, single-parent families with a holistic approach to transforming lives. The organization supports the whole family and the whole person by providing affordable, transitional, private housing; parent services and advocacy, such as life-skills coaching, parenting classes, and financial counseling; and early education and child care and social-emotional support services through its Learning Center.
With our interior-design colleagues, we began our work this summer in the Learning Center by unpacking enormous storage rooms and organizing all kinds of supplies, from art supplies to clothing! We used our building and design savvy to make sure the storage rooms function for the students’ teachers and leaders. Up next: Duet designers will begin work on the large meeting space where the kids gather to learn and play, and Duet Build is ready to construct what we need to make the room beautiful and functional. We’re honored to support such a vital nonprofit in our community that transforms the lives of both adults and children!
