Caleb Tobin builds with both intellect and intention. As President of Duet Build, he leads with a rare blend of architectural insight, legal acumen, and hands-on experience—ensuring that every home is not only beautifully crafted but built with integrity from the ground up.
Originally from Vermont, Caleb moved to Colorado in 2002 to pursue a Master of Architecture from the University of Colorado Denver, later earning a law degree from the University of Denver. That dual foundation—design and discipline—shaped the approach that defines him today: thoughtful, transparent, and deeply respectful of the process that turns vision into reality.
Over the course of his career, Caleb has worn nearly every hat the building industry offers—architect, attorney, planner, and educator. Each chapter has sharpened his perspective on what true craftsmanship means: not perfection for its own sake, but precision in service of people, place, and purpose.
At Duet Build, Caleb leads with quiet confidence and an unwavering belief in doing things the right way. His steady leadership has helped define Duet’s reputation for clear communication, exceptional quality, and enduring trust.
Together with his wife and business partner, Devon Tobin, Caleb has shaped Duet into one of Colorado’s most respected integrated firms—where architecture, interior design, and construction move as one. For Caleb, “Colorado Roots” isn’t just a tagline; it’s a way of building and living—anchored in authenticity, craft, and the belief that great homes are built to last for generations.
When he’s not on site or collaborating with his team, you’ll find Caleb in the mountains with Devon and their two sons—skiing, hiking, and embracing the same balance of family, work, and landscape that inspires everything he builds.
